Latest Comic Art: Mayah’s Lot

I was lucky enough to get tapped to create a comic book in support of environmental ethics through CUNY. It was a great pleasure to do the designs but also to learn about environmental activism.

Mayah’s Lot: Comics for Environmental Advocacy

admin - Thursday, 20 September 2012 06:31

I just finished up an 18 page comic book with old pal, Rebecca Bratspies and CUER (CUNY Center for Environmental Reform) for their first environmental justice comic book. An exciting project, featuring Mayah, a super EARTH GIRL. I will be posting the pages soon, so stay tuned.

Denver Comic Con a HUGE Success

admin - Tuesday, 3 July 2012 01:14

What happens when a handful of childhood friends join together to help educate children through Comic Books? Well, the Denver Comic Con happened! And, boy was it ever a huge success. I am blown away. And, to have the chance to build, design and create our own con together as childhood friends, is the greatest experience I have known in a while.

Thanks to all of you who have supported me and the cause!! We will soon know how much money we raised for the CBC and look forward to bringing the after school program around the globe.

Wow. It’s gonna be a long but great week/weekend here in NYC as NYCC is less than 12 hours away!

I’ll be in artist alley BOOTH D17 with my pal Mr. Phil and the ISR sports team, where we will be covering the fantastic amazing con that is NY Comic Con.

I’ll be kicking off the first day with a panel on the future of Comics in the Classroom, thanks to Josh Elder of Reading with Pictures.  I’ll be there on behalf of Comic Book Classroom and really looking forward to it.
